About Us

Our family has lunch every Sunday with only a few exceptions. This blog will attempt to catalog all the things we eat for sunday lunch because we don't repeat that often. If you need dinner ideas we have them.

Our family consists of: mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins; step-mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins; mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins-in-law; and people who aren't related by blood or law but are family just the same. We may have between 8 and 28 people on any given Sunday, sometimes more, sometimes less.

We live in South Louisiana which is one of the crown jewels of the world culinary stage. We come from a southern tradition, but all good food is welcome. Most of our food is homemade from "scratch" but we will cheat and use pre-made foods every once in a while. (Prepared foods will be noted in the posts)

We only have a few secret recipes in our family but they aren't all typed up either. If you want a recipe send us an email and we will do our best.
